Im an animator living in Portsmouth, UK currently working for the Creative Assembly
in Horsham, West Sussex. I have been there since November 2006 where i have worked on two titles so far, Viking:
Battle for Asgard for console and Empire: Total War for the PC.This has been my first job in the industry since leaving University in July 2006 and I am very grateful to them that they gave me a chance. I'm just still amazed at the amount of new things I learn every day I'm there, animation is certainly one hell of a challenge.
Ok so a bit of personal information. I consider myself to be a sports enthusiast both as a follower and player. Though if I'm honest with myself that mostly involves football. I do now regulary play tennis but I've played football since I was seven years old for the same team, Shelford Rovers. I have known some of my teamates since that age as well and been through school with most, so there's a nice social aspect alonside the good healthy fitness that comes with it ;) I'm a proud supporter of Portsmouth FC and currently hold a season ticket so visiting every home game and as many away games as I can(afford). I watch way too many films, though I don't consider that a bad thing, trying to both go and see new releases and getting through a ever expanding list of recommendations and ones I feel I need to see. I try to make as much time possible to play computer games, old and new, though this time seems to be less and less these days. I have a very eclectic taste in music, so for me to list even some of my favourite bands would result in this text not fitting in this frame. I feel all these different interests and more in my life keep me fresh with ideas when animating.
Just a final thanks goes out to all my family, friends and especially my wife Sam whom without them I wouldn't be where I am today and I'm very gratefull for that. :D
